Join REI Boycott starting Friday, May 15 through May 25!

The REI store at 1662 Commercial Way, Santa Cruz, voted to unionize last year, joining 11 of the 195 Recreational Equipment, Inc. stores across the U.S. to be part of REI Union, now affiliated with UFCW (United Food & Commercial Workers). The union is seeking a first contract with the company, a consumer co-op that long-time members say has strayed toward corporatization from its idealistic roots. In addition to joining a picket at the store, the public can Pledge to Support this limited boycott during the biggest sale of the year.
